This fool keeps PMing me wantting to know what I meant by the term topwater. I told him to look it up in the big book on his desk, but he probably thinks I mean the Bible. So I thought we should define it for him.
Topwater-dsmo2f
topwater- The dumb booty newbie duck hunters that leave little orange flags all the way to a duck hole on WMAs. You know the little flags us real duck hunters like to move around to confuse you topwaters.
Who's next? Give the boy your definition.

Hey dsmO2f.....'Topwater' is an unflattering term given to those who possess a lower degree of proficiency, by those who 'claim' to have a higher degree of proficiency than 'Topwater'. Sometimes, that doesn't require much.
Truth is......it's all relative.......and who's to judge? I'm always amused at the 'assigning' of 'titles'. I wouldn't think too much of it, buddy.

Actually.....I left their reflectors alone this year

.......(I usually wait 'til I know it's gonna be real foggy.......it takes'em longer to figure-out something ain't right, when there's no other reference points and visibility is only 20 feet

......with or without a Q-beam). Timing is everything, my friend.
I'll move'em later.....

Wannabes buy bands on ebay or shoot tamies that are banded and think its the same. Topwaters just put the ones they give you at the shows on their lanyards. Wannabes want you think they got it going on, topwaters dont know the difference. travis
