Greenhead22 is referring to a guy on this site's place. His handle is Gadwall2 I'm pretty sure. Look him up...its his first year and he has got some great prices. I'll probably be going there instead of the grand here soon.

Those prices are extremely reasonable. Most places are $150 to $200 per hunt.

Yeah, I figured that myself...heck I don't mind helpin a brutha out. He's gonna hook us up pretty good. Shooting quail is shooting quail...his place is priced about half what a regular place is and his birds (from what I've heard) are better flight conditioned and are more like "wild" quail. If it's all it's made out to be we'll be going back each year and probably bring 3 to 4 folks each trip.

You might want to try Caney Bottom Lodge. They are not in North MS, but they are not all that far away.

Kerney Park in Flora, but I think they are proud of dim hunts

If you want to go on a quail hunt, do the best... Longleaf Plantation in Lumberton, Ms. 4,000 acres of pristine longleaf pines (pre-Katrina). It's pricey, but 1st class.

I can vouch for some of his dogs. The German Short hairs where trained by a friend of mine that helped me on my Weimaranier. I have shoot a good many birds behind those dogs and they are enjoyable to watch.
