Is there anything to the rumors out of Tuscaloosa about Prothro not being able to play football ever again due to some problications with his surgery and rehab?

I havent heard anything recently.

There was rumors early on of a staph infection, but the doctors eventually said that was not the case.

I hope he can rehab next year and take a redshirt.

from what i have heard he has a chance of being back for spring practice, said he could not have broken it in a better spot.
