I need your help!!

The Corp of Engineers shut down a huge area of trails in Tate county(north side of arkabutla lake). I frequented this area with many others. I desperately need your help in getting this area reopened for use with atv's. Since the Corp of Engineers is a federal agency, I have started a petetion going to Trent Lott and Thad Cochran. BG, is the closed area around the Coldwater boatramp ? I have a cousin who is a US Congressman representing Mississippi (Chip Pickering). A phone call to him would probably do more good than an internet petition. And he is very pro-outdoorsman / hunter

I signed it, also sent you a email by mistake. I live over here along the Tenn-tom and its a pain to have too walk 1 or 2 miles or more to get to a place to hunt much less drag a deer out or tote 3 or 4 dozen dekes into......... Good Luck........ mike

I talked to the head of the Corp for Mississippi today. He sounded displeased about the closings by the local branch at Arkabutla. Kinda hard to tell if he will do anything or not. A call to anyone who could help would be appreciated. It is the area accessed by the landing off hwy 51 at the desoto/tate line by the coldwater river. This area they closed runs a good ways back to the west and north.
