It was a small turn out of cookers, only about 8 teams. I did get to eat elk cooked 2 ways, buffalo, antelope, wild boar, dove, duck cooked about 5 different ways, quail,
pheasant, deer about 4 different ways, turkey, rabbit, and crawdads. No one cooked coon or possium.
CaptnT,

I actually drove by Saturday around 1:30, but I had a couple of clients (Asian Indian) with me. They mentioned they were hungry, and I suggested we stop there, but I think they were intimidated by all the four-wheel drives!! I told them we could try out some elk, etc., but they didn't look too interested, so we ended up going to the Blue and White, and we got alot of funny looks from the locals, but everyone was polite. They never had any country fried steak in gravy before, and thought it was chicken!!
I will definitely be at this gathering, come hell or high water.
