I read in the classifieds where you had a 9 month old lab with Glenn McElroy in Vaiden. That wouldn't happen to be the pup he has out of Slim would it? Just curious because if it is, I met you at the boat ramp with Glenn one day this past duck season.

I have a pup out of Slim and I am suprised everyday with him. The dog is the most talented dog I have ever been around. He has the most energy I have ever seen also. I know this reply was to someone else, but when I saw Slim's name it made me think of my pup out of him.

4Duckhuntn,

I also have a pup out of Slim. I think we talked about them once(or twice-I never get tired of talking about my boy). I shouldn't call him a pup anymore. He turned one year old on February 18th, and he already weighs at least 95 pounds. But I love him - He is doing pretty good considering I haven't been able to train with him in 2 months because I tore my ACL and had to have surgery.

Dash will be a year in March...I am only sorry that the water was up so much that I was unable to take him with me this past season. Dash is only about 65 pounds, but I let him put some weight on for the winter. I am going to put him in field trails this spring, so I have to start working with him before it gets so hot.
