Where to find culverts???

Postby Model12 » Sat Sep 24, 2005 10:16 am

Guys, I'm tired of the messing around with the old boards to control water level in my ponds and brake. Does anyone know where I can find plastic culverts with gates on them? Or any other Ideas would be helpful. I'm ready to dig up the old culverts and replace them. I need some Ideas...Thanks....

Last plastic riser I got was from Lake Village, AR. If you can find some irrigation supply companies, they'll probably have some or tell you where to get some. As far as the plastic culverts, I know that Purvis Equipment in Belzoni usually has some.

Dulaney Seed in Clarksdale used to sell plastic pipe and risers. Why would you change out steel pipe and risers for plastic ones?

Look in the county road diches. There are bunch of them to choose from.

And there is another company in Greenville..Faulkner Pipe on Raceway Rd...If I remember correctly.

There are others in Lake Village, AR and in McGehee, AR.

We have a big plastic riser we are using as a marker in the yard. Do not remember what we gave for it, but will let it go for 1/2 of whatever a new one costs. Its at the camp near valley park.
