Food For Thought

Hypothetical:

Ok, Suppose this year the ducks we saw were all the ducks. (i.e. there are no ducks). And say noone would tell the hunters, because of the financial repercussions. And say everyone made excuses, ignored the truth, and convinced themselves of everything except the truth. And say it got worse next year, and the year after that, and the year after that. How many years do you think it would take before hunters did anything about it or would we just wait until it was too late?

I know noone is gonna even imagine that duck numbers dropped that much from one year to the next, but you might want to do some research. What you might find might scare the **** out of you.

And suppose that duck hunters were still killin wood ducks in Illinois 3 days before Christmas, and lake Erie never froze over this year, or how about reports of mallards by the thousands still in Ontario on Jan 1st!

Oh, wait a sec...all that really did happen. Dang, shot my conspiracy theory right in the booty.

Oh well, was that really Elvis that died? I mean it coulda been an double that OD'ed and there could be millions in gold buried....

O.K., suppose Abraham Lincoln really was a woman, and John Wilkes Booth really was his lover?

H2O,
You and I think alot alike. The money is going to cloud some figures. I think in about 2 more years there will be a lot of hunters stepping back and going "I wish I would have listened". Bag limits need to be dropped now. I don't think anybody can argue that the old point system didn't work.

There is this wonderful thing, everone knows about. You can spread it in a garden plot, till it in, and things grow wonderfully. You can drop some in a new septic system, and it will work till and after you are long gone. You can mix it with clippings and compost it and make excellent fertilized topsoil for flower gardens. But all in all it is still just HORSESH$#.
