Well, its nearly that time of year again where hope rings eternal for fans of all teams. Soon reality will slap yo ass harder than a stripper at platinum at your batch party. Both miss teams will suck it up to high heaven as only they could do. Bama will still deny its in decline. LSU will come down to earth and Tommy will only have used cadillacs with the plastic missin around the taillights, rust on the chrome and splits in the leather. Arkansas will be the suprize winner of the west and set the tone for years of bitch slapping fun to come.
I see a much improved Arkansas defense, a solid o line that college football weely rated 9th in the nation and could end up being better than that, that will give a young sophmore qb time to mature into an effective distributor of the ball to talented fbs, rbs and wrs. This team will lose, but the future is bright with talented froshs and sophs all over the place. 8-3 to 7-4. with a few "they beat whos" possible.
They will surprise you, but don't say I didn't warn you.
Soon, I'll be chillin' in the lower east side.

I think they said the same exact thing about us last year..... and we were a # 7 o-line in the nation pre-season.....

See heres the deal, it quite possible with us, while its totally out of the question for you. Miss St. may never be over .500 ever again. Ole Miss is hope some Manning starts to have offspring soon, Hell I'd put twenty down they would try to suit up a girl Manning.
I didn't mention Mustain, but thanks for noticing. I told you all how impressive he was last year, watch the USA Today prep section he'll be mentioned alot. But, thats not the whole picture, we are getting quality af-u-leets from all over.
As for Southern Cal, well, we will see, I truly think its about time a SEC team takes it to someone outside of the conference in these early season matchups, Why not us. Past history is on our side with being underdogs with USC. And uh, Good Luck with Vandy! See the difference in programs boys.
Greenhead, they got more than you think, just watch and see.
And damn aren't ya'll just bummed totally out cuz the basketball team is going to be back to form too.

gumbo good to have you back
You boys gotta prove you can beat LSU though, they've got plenty of weapons and kept Jimbo Fisher, their fall back to earth isn't going to be as swift as some imagine.

you know i don't give a rats booty bout ark. football... however, i'm sure of one thing... matt jones... was a stud... i seriously doubt that ark will ever have an athelete like that play quaterback again...
6'6" 4.3- 40 time...
do any of you guys watch the nfl channel... did u see him run the 40 at the combines...
or what about that catch he made during senior bowl practice.. one handed snag.. way up over the top of the d-back....
chit niggra... he was awesome... i'm rooting for him...
i think just losing him alone will cause ark to suck this year

Here's a good article for your research:
Here's a quick look at the nation's best wide receivers/tight ends.
1. LSU Tigers
You would not know it by the production, but LSU possesses a greater complement of wide receiver talent than any other school in the country. Craig Davis and Dwayne Bowe each averaged 15.3 yards per reception last season. Davis is the most complete receiver on the team. He is tall with good strength and top-end speed. He should emerge as a special talent with improved route-running skills as a junior. Bowe will provide some big plays, as witnessed by his five touchdowns on 39 receptions, but he must catch the ball with more consistency. The missing piece of the puzzle for much of last season was Skyler Green, who was hobbled by a lingering ankle injury. Green is one of the most explosive after-the-catch receivers in the country, and his ability to play on the outside and in the slot position gives the Tigers options when it comes to getting multiple receivers on the field at the same time.
Early Doucet and Xavier Carter are two unpolished youngsters who flash huge vertical potential. Furthermore, David Jones and Keith Zinger are two sure-handed tight end/H-back types who can exploit defenses down the middle. The Tigers return four offensive line starters and have three backs (Alley Broussard, Joseph Addai and Justin Vincent) who could all wind up playing in the NFL. If coordinator Jimbo Fisher can get more consistency from either JaMarcus Russell or incoming freshman phenom Ryan Perrilloux at the quarterback position, this offense could be scary.
At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.

Yes this was written before we lost Alley to an ACL tear for the season but;
I just returned from the morning practice at LSU and I will report on a few things the way I saw it. Matt Flynn was almost perfect on the fade pass routes and was nearly perfect in the seven-on-seven workouts. In my opinion, the quarterback battle is very, very close and I believe that Flynn is making a move. DaWayne Bowe, Brandon LaFell, Early Doucet and Craig Davis each made great catches. As for the running backs, Joseph Addai, Shyrone Carey, Justin Vincent, R.J. Jackson and Antonio Robinson continue to impress me. I believe that Jackson and Robinson are going to be very good before leaving Tiger Town. All four fullbacks - Kevin Steltz, Steven Korte, Jacob Hester and Shawn Jordan - look to be in great shape. I look for Hester to put up big numbers this coming season.
