Survey - Waterfowling writers and literature

I collect waterfowling books and read everything I can find on the subject. I am interested in finding out what authors and books you guys think are the best. I don't think that anyone even comes close to Nash Buckingham when it comes to describing the duck hunting around this region...he would certainly be my hands-down nominee. What are your thoughts?

I don't know about just this region, but Gordon McQuarry (sp), Worth Matthewson, Van Campen Heilner are all good reads.

Gulfcoast, my topic starter was not limited to this region...I'm just interested in great writing By the way, I own copies of McQuarrie, Matthewson and Heilner's works and agree with you.
