The Guns of Vicksburg - Sporting Clays Shoot

to benefit the Old Courthouse Museum

Date: August 13, 2005
Place: Loosa Yokena Plantation - Hwy. 61 South at Jeff Davis Road
Registration starts @ 8 AM

100 Bird Shoot
5 person team - $500
Individual - $100
Sponsor - $250

Lunch Catered by Goldie's Trail Bar-B-Q

There will be drawings for door prizes. Some of the prizes include: free duck hunting trip given by the casino at Lula, MS, overnight stays at some of the B & B in Vicksburg, carriage ride and tour of the old Courthouse, meals at Horizon Casino (upscale restaurant), Husqavarna chain saw, Beretta knives, Old Timer knives, and more.

75 trophies and plaques to be awarded for the shooting event.

I'll be leaving Friday going down to shoot! I'll be shooting with the Casino team from Lula! We are going to stay @ the Isle of Capri.

just found out we are gonna make it :wink: :wink: will be three of us :D :D look forward to seeing sum folks....yall speak up ole pondbuster and myself and my stepfather and chuckle12 will on a team and hopefully ole bankerman :D :D

The shoot and lunch was a first class affair. Lot of hard work by Mike and Janie Kavanaugh, the Hyland family and many others. Thanks to all of them.

Thanks to all who participated; particularly those who came from out of town. I heard that we had 189 shooters signed up. It was very a very successful event for the Old Courthouse Museum.

Had a great time shooting them clays and seeing folks. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet 5 mile and acornman, Chad I think he was HOA runner up with a 92.
