miller point testing the waters

Postby gyver » Fri Jul 01, 2005 9:00 pm

a friend came by the shop yesterday. he has a couple of black guy's that work with him that went to the old river fishing the other day. while they were putting their boat in at the 2nd boat ramp one of the club members pulled up and asked just what the HELL they thought they were doing.of course they said going fishing, he told the he was an owner and that they need to stay on the levee side and also don't go down near the club houses.
sounds to me like their feeling froggy. last monday night we were out there frog gigging and as we got closer to the clubhouses somebody started shining a spotlight at us. i had my bosses son and didn't want him in the middle of it so we went the other direction. turned out to be a blessing in disguise cause we hadn't seen a frog till we turned around then we ended up with 26.

And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it, they will be your food.

Guys, I apologize! My bad, I was wrong in editing gyvers post! I hope that gyver will accept my apologizies(post has been changed back to original context). We are working through some new rules and there are gonna be some mistakes. I made one. I am sure I will make some more. Thanks for keeping me in check!

no biggy duckamateur, just messing with you.
i hate to sound like i'm kicking a dead horse but i just feel that if we don't stay on top of this it's going to snowball all up and down the river.
i found a possible duck hole on the west side of their club while juggin' this weekend but it would have to be cold to be good.
haven't heard anything from the clarion-ledger or fox13 yet.
hey reb 'member the last time we hunted on the river ?
sam, dillon, and myself in sam's 14 ft. with that 10 hp. and 10 dozen decoy's ? north bound at about 2 miles an hour.
get'r done.

Why contact the hunting club. They will take you to court for hunting public land.

If its public land why would you care if the carry you to court? I'm just wondering if there have been any communication between the parties or is this just a post to stir the pot.
