Texas looked good the whole CWS. Winning 5 straight games.

Florida just simply got their butts whipped. Oh well, maybe next year the Tide will get back into the hunt. Now we only have about three months til football, teal and early goose!

That's always quite an accomplishment to go undefeated at the CWS. They really played some good ball while in Omaha. I enjoyed watching it, even though there was a hollow feeling without LSU there this year. That really bit the big one, but either way you have to love the CWS, I absolutely look forward to it every year. And on the plus side my wife didn't have to cover the TV with foam this year to keep me from breaking it like I did last year.

yep it was nice to watch old auggie coach and his boys respond, the man is good , treats baseball like chess and is very successful with it, everyone one of his teams bunts and takes strikes when called on to do so, just like I say all the time, small ball aint fun to watch for most but it sure goes a long way, I think every damm high school coach should leran from this series and texas's performance. the sacrifice bunt is alive and well and I love it, and yeh this is being said by an old long ball hitter, hehehe

Ole Miss will now lay claim to having a 5-4 over the 2 teams that played for the national championship......thus making them national champions.
