I went to Wal Mart looking for some sale items and saw that they already have the turkey hunting supplies out..Dident need any calls but they had the Primos Truth 13.
I just watched the whole thing 2 part series 3 hours of nothing but wacking some turkeys..
They could have atleast waited until deer and duck season closed before they get everybody looking forward to something else..
I guess we need something to pass time until next November!

I just got through reading the Truth about turkey hunting by ronnie strickland. it was a very entertaining book. I think i've already got the fever and will be at wal-mart shortly to get that video.

Thank god turkeys dont migrate.

what really makes it hard is when a dozen or so turkeys spend the winter roosting in cypress trees around your duck blind... it has made for an entertaining season with few ducks... i love to hear them hens do their stuff.. i took a push pin call tuesday morn and had some fun with a jake... he flew off the roost and lit in a dead tree just yards from the blind and was trying his best to be impressive..... having been turkey huntin only a few years, i had alot of learning experiences this winter...

how do you boys take to us talkin about turkey huntin on here. Maybe we could go to msturkeys.com from feb1 to may1, cause ain't nothin gets me goin like a big ole gobbler and a pretty spring mornin. Just kidding, but it sounds like we have a lot of turkey hunters on here and after all they do have feathers.....

I'm all for talkin' about talkin' turkey. Just get something started. Can't wait till they start gobblin'!
