Mighty Casey....I mean Stephan Head struck out.   I was really pulling for the Rebels. It was still a good showing.

That was the best 12-6 curve I've ever seen in my life.

What kills me is the hatred for Ole Miss. Some of these State fans would rather Ole Miss lose than see State win.

I hated that Head's last at bat as a Rebel ended with a strikeout with the tying runs on base ----but, THAT'S BASEBALL.

I need another damn drink.

AP Wire - Starkville, MS. - Michael Jackson acquitted of molesting teenage boy.

AP Wire - Oxford, MS - Faithful Mississippi crowd in God's country witness Rebels lose to a strong Texas Longhorn team.

AP Wire - Jackson, MS - Two African Americans rob quick stop. Three killed in drive by shooting at mall.

AP Wire - Hattiesburg, MS - Who cares what happens.

AP Wire - Pascagoula, MS - Mike Moore give local attorney 20 million to settle tampon case.

Rebels put up a good showing and came up short, I am proud that a MISSISSIPPI team made it this far, we should all be proud that we had a good team representing our state.
