I know this goes on the sports forum but I am so mad at Mike Tyson right now!! He just FARKING quit in the 6th round... JUST QUIT!! Just didn't come out of his corner!!!!!!! Said he just fought to pay some bills!!!!!!! UUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Another pay per view waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea... I thought that was pretty weak myself! Ole bust booty brotha wouldn't even get up to finish the fight. Makes me sick. There's a serious lack of motivation there or something... :o :x :?:

no need to get back up. the deal was done and the check was there... sad day in sports for fight lovers... i don't even think his opponent could handle himself with any top ten boxer... i just find it hard to believe that the media and boxing association would give him the chance...

yea, he's a 'blackeye' to the sport...he was a helluva boxer when he first came out...a serious punisher...had people scared to fight him....I remember him coming outta the locker room with a towel draped over his shoulders with a hole cut in the center...boots with no socks.....the real deal......then he went to crap....he shouldn't be given the opportunity to retire..he should banned from the sport...forever!
where are all the real boxers....I use to absolutely love the sport.....I actually knew many of their names...now it seems there's a new champion every week....some new title holder in some weight class...you don't have the household names like you use to.....sugar ray leonard, marvin haggler....holmes and ali....frazer and foreman......man, I miss those days.......boxing came on saturday or sunday on the wild world of sports....heck, it was free!....guess like most things, money has ruined it..let me rephrase that, the LOVE of money has ruined it..

even Clay, i mean Ali, would be embarassed at todays boxing...Ali along with Howard{the mouth} Cossell could keep me mad for days at a time during the 70's... now i catch myself watching and enjoying them on the sports classic channel...the money got too great....

Mike Tyson is a washed out boxer, no doubt..but one thing's 4 sure...I wouldnt want to fight him!! Washed out or not..I bet he can still pack a hurtful punch..here and there!
I may go to Heaven, or I may go to hell....But one thing is for certain..It'll be after Duck season!!

I wouldn't watch Tyson fight if he were fighting in my back yard.

I washed my hands of paying to see any of his fights after getting pay-per-view for the infamous fight with Evander Holyfield, when he bit a chunk of Evander's ear off after he was obviously going to lose the fight.

As a boxer, he is beyond pathetic.
You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.
