All of this talk of guns prompted a visit today to a local gun shop. Browning has a rebate out right now on the Gold Hunter & on the 3.5 BPS.

The store I visited also had the guns on sale. The 3.5 BPS at sale price & with rebate is less expensive (just under $400) than the 3 inch BPS.

Also, I need to correct something I posted recently about the BPS. The 3.5 BPS appears to now be built on the standard 12 guage frame rather than the 10 guage frame. The first 3.5 BPS 12 guages were built on the 10 guage frame.

I do not recall the price on the Gold Hunters, but the rebate is $100 regardless of where you purchase.

I wouldn't buy another GOLD if they gave me a $500 rebate! Nuttin but junk, especially the 3.5".

Jethro just curious is Browning having a rebate on all of their guns or just the two shotguns they mentioned? Just curious because I am thinking about a new rifle for next year and now might be the time to buy it. Just wondering if they said anything to you about all of their guns. Thanks for the heads up on the rebate.
