Choke Stuck/Gun

Postby Crowell » Sat May 28, 2005 3:58 pm

I have a Benelli that when I try to remove the modified choke, it will not loosen. I took it to the place of purchase, they tried removing the choke after cleaning the gun. They broke a wrench trying to remove the choke. The only solution seems to return to the gun to the manufacturer. Anyone have a similar solution, besides a heating torch?

Thanks.

PUG THE END OF THE BARREL, STAND ON THE END AND FILL IT WITH THE PB BLAST TILL YOU FEEL LIKE THE CHOKE IS SUBMERGED. LEAVE IT ALONE FOR 2 DAYS THEN REMOVE.

soak it in marvel mystery oil for a few days. tap around the choke ever few hours to make sure if it penetrates.

Yeah, that way the jamming problems will outweigh the stuck choke!

If the PB doesnt work try Kroil it is amazing stuff.

Thanks to the supporters of PB Blaster. I left the choke submerged for almost two days. Got the choke out a few minutes ago. I own a Browning and acknowledge it is a good gun. My Benelli has not presented a jamming problem---yet. Thanks again to the real experts!
