Had them fatheads all year!!!!
Somehow managed to have a wonderful season this year despite all the aggrivated hunters surrounding me. Been shootin' at them greenjeans all year long. Also, never seen pintails like this before. Had big ducks since day 1, but they are just now starting to leave cause of the lack of food and excess heat. About 70% of our hunts have brought LIMITS of ducks. Me and 5 of my patnas really put a whoopin' on 'em the morning it got down in the teens. Just wanted to let ya'll know "not everyone is singing the duck huntin' blues". For once, I wasn't the one THAT GOT IT BROKE OFF IN ME during duck season!!! Surely i'm doomed for seasons to come though.

GOOD FOR YOU,HUNG UP, BUT THAT'S A LITTLE TOO HARD TO BELIEVE,THIS YEAR.I WOULD HAVE TO HAVE SEEN IT TO BELIEVE IT.HUNTED HARD, ALL OVER THE PLACE, ALL SEASON, AND I HAVE ONLY MANAGED 3 OR 4 LIMITS. NOT CALLING YOU A COMPLETE LIAR, JUST AM A LITTLE SKEPTICAL ABOUT THAT.

Took several of my friends hunting who spend alot of time CHASING ducks as you do, and all of them will agree that our hunt was the best hunt they've been on this year. Phone rang off the hook all season, but there was plenty of birds to go around, so myself and the rest of our members took guests hunting all year long because they hadn't had any luck elsewhere! If I had a scanner i'd really show you some stuff!

have to agree w/ hung up. i was there on one of these infamous hunts and there were TONS of birds, mostly MALLARDS & PINTAILS, with too many bluebills . we only killed thirteen birds (11 green, 2 sprigs), got screwed by the wind and the fact that there was a raft of geese and ducks in an adjacent field that would not get up for $#!%.
saw pictures of the previous two days and it was an assload of dead ducks. also knew everybody that was in on the slaughter. there are a few ducks here, but they are either just concentrated in one spot or too spread out with all the water.
some get lucky, some don't (quote of the season).
