Why are you not hunting? "instead"

Well guys I came in today get supplies, close a deal at work, and buy shells.
Thought I would check in to see how everyone is fairing and see a bunch of gripping and fussing about a little of everything.
It is no doubt that this is a tough season but it has been one I won’t soon forget. I’ve killed birds I have rarely had the opportunity to kill and learned a great deal about places that I never hunted before.
Our numbers are way down from last year killed less than 300 birds so far and have fought to get each and every one.
3 Bands so far this season.
I keep hearing that the birds are not hear but I can tell you I am seeing thousands a day, I have been turned down by multiple land owners when I finally find were they are but had a few to give me permission to hunt. Had limited success with open sheet water hunting. The past week has shown an improvement in the flooded timber along the Mississippi River and I’m finally killing birds at a steady rate.
You’re not going to kill birds sitting on this site cussing each other over stuff that don’t matter anyway.
Get you butt out there and find them, I can tell you of a few spots that are holding large number of birds if your into killing Gads, But don’t ask about my mallard holes cause I’ll laugh at ya. Nobody going to shoot my mallards but me…
I have been taking so many picture's that my laptop disk filled up. There here guys you just have to look for them. They’re acting funny this year and are not in most of our normal holes but are using the backwater off of the river systems. We have been fighting for them hard and I look forward to posting some of our pages from our hunting log upon my return in Feb.
The lack of snow has really screwed us this year but my freezer is still filling up and things look better each and every day.
If you trying to get in touch with me just email me your phone number and my wife will relay the message.
Luck to you all.
