Bones -- In response to your questions, the ducks have moved out of both the NWR & the WMA for the time being. Yes, both places can be difficult & (at times) dangerous places to hunt. I am surprised at the number of folks trying to hunt either place from 18 foot flats -- it is just not enough boat. We experienced 6 to 8 foot swells on a return trip recently. Good luck to you.
