Hunted it a couple of times when I was in school at Oxford (about 3 years ago) with some buddies. We had a couple of desent shoots. You are gonna probably need a boat to have any success and as with all public land sometimes you have to deal with some nuts who think if they set up as close as possible to you they will do better.

Good luck.

I have some friends that have hunted on Sardis when they were at school at Ole Miss and did have some good shoots every once and a while.

The problem down there this past season was that the lake was over summer pool. Gave the birds lots of room to spread out

I hunted Sardis a lot when I was at Ole Miss, heck it was 5 minutes from my house! I always had the best shoots when the water was way up into the woods. I'd say that sardis gets better with water and is definitely more consistant when it is flooded out of its banks, some of the best duck hunting areas don't get wet unless it is.
