Don't know about hiding the stuff, but if you get over to waterfowler.com and join their site you can get a good discount from Mack's and use the old "Honey your gonna be so proud of me, I saved us so much money today!" trick.
It's one wives use all the time when they go shopping and get stuff on sale, we ought to be able to use it to!

M.B.

p.s. Its a cool site and you get a magazine and some other stuff as well.

'Funny, we got two catalogs, Monday. One addressed to me....the other to my wife.

She even gave our dogs (2 golden retrievers) a gift subscription to Wildfowl Magazine (they actually put their AKC registered names on the address label...Topbrass' Flying Sprig and MS Flyway Brandy)...what a 'hoot'!

We (wife and I) make an 'ammo run' to Mack's every year, before duck season, just to get out of town for a weekend.

She'll move to the duck camp a week before LA's season begins. I'll see her on the weekends and Holidays. She'll move back home to finish the MS season out, with me.

Mack's is a great place....plan a trip with your wife, just to get out of town. There's a lot to do around Stuttgart, that time of year. She might actually enjoy it, even if it has to do with duck hunting.

It's important to let your wife know just how important duck hunting is to you....don't hide it, but at the same time, be practical enough not to inundate her with your apparent obcession. Get it straight, now...the longer you wait, the worse it gets.

I'm just lucky I don't have to worry about buying duck hunting stuff. The only drawback for me is, I usually have to buy two of everything.

GOOD LUCK!

Got my Macks catalog yesterday too. Not a minute too soon - almost missed being able to get my ROBO-DOVE before dove season. Can't wait to try that ROBO-CROW either! Yee-ha. I did see some new Hogeman fatboy waders I want to try. Macks has it all. Great prices on ammo.

I couldn't wait for my catalog to come in so I just spent $200.00 at Mack's via the internet. I also spent another $200 with WingSupply.com as well!! I love Christmas in July too!

Tried to fish at Maddux Bay this past weekend. Water too low so made the trip over to Mack's. Well worth the trip. Got my shells at a VERY good price, compared to the Memphrica area. They had alot of neat things that have come out in the line of clothing.
