Has anyone been killing any ducks on the Back Bay in Biloxi? Or up the rivers?

Fair numbers of ducks are being killed in the Jackson County marsh system, and over near the power plant in Harrison County. Only on the Coast do you hunt ducks next to refinerys, power plants and oil tankers. As usual this time of year, mostly grays and mottleds. The teal seem to be a little scarce, and a few mallards are getting here now.

I have hunted there for years. I emailed you a private message did you write back? Well I was wondering if it was even worth coming home to try and hunt? last season I hunted on a regular basis. With all that ice up in the north of the state, I had an unreal season at least a limit a day. So is it???

Oh, just saw that PM. Sorry. All I can say is that we are doing pretty well down here this year. I have never hunted the back bay too much, so I can't say much about that. I will hunt the delta for pretty much the rest of the season to get some "green" in my diet.

Plant Jack Watson is the plant you are talking about. But that was my stomping ground for years. There have been many a duck and even more beer downed in that area. Plant Daniel is over in Pascagoula. Daffy's and Capt. Al's is in Gulfport. Maybe I'll see ya there. Good luck!
