I am sure I am fixin' to get flamed for this, but, here goes. I noticed two items that I would consider questionable on the MOJO thang thread. One being an avatar and the other a doctored up picture of the MOJOs. I thought that was what the Duck Hole Gang Forum was made for. I look at this forum in our family room while my wife and daughters are watching TV.

Not condemning them. I just think it is poor judgment to have them on this forum. Please consider moving those items to the Duck Hole Forum.

I agree seymore.... i use to sit with my daughters and grandkids and review the site... no more, i'm old school...according to some folks... they should chime in any time now....

MsBowMan - so why must you prove your point by saying the N word? If it's offensive to you and you feel that others find it that way then don't type it. You also say that it has truely gone to hell. There have been two references to the N word since you joined and one of them was yours. I agree that this isn't the place for smut but I think that you are once again trying to stir the pot because you enjoy it.

I removed MSBowMen's patently offensive post which was nothing but an excuse for him to use the "N" word. Your right, he was doing nothing other than stirring the pot and whining, as usual. We need to buy him some cheese to go with all that "whine."

There is nothing I can do about avatars, Micah has to deal with that.


We try to keep the place family friendly. HOWEVER, we don't read every post. If you really think something is offensive, send a PM to a mod. Or to the poster. I did not get a PM on any of this. If it really matters, send a PM. None of us have time to sit here and read this board 24/7. Frankly, that photo was milder than a lot of ads in magazines you have sitting around your house that your kids can pick up whenever. However, Webfoot kindly removed it, so that should not be a big deal.

Although we do try and keep the place under control, it will never quite be a Baptist church service. Do y'all remember that part about Jesus catching flack for hanging out with the sinners, and not the gripey, whiney, holier-than-everyone-else Pharisees?

Yep, I saw the picture. But, like it. Not worried about it. Have your kids ever watched television. You say only kids programs..... ever let them watch the wiggles?

Offensive avatars? Do you have any idea how perceptive and open kids are with other kids when you are not around, how they always seem to tell the truth about another kid even if it hurts... come'on, the little girl is a fatty, and she is going to pay hell with it weather you like it or not... I say give her a special account with little debbie and let her have at it !!!

As I figured, I would get flamed for asking that people use discretion in their post.

Again please refer to my original post that stated I was not condemning anyone for their post or avatars. I personally don't give a hoot what somebody else does. I just don't want to be surfing a site I thought was family friendly only to have something come up that I wasn't expecting.

Since it is obvious that there are those who will continue to push the edge of this envelope as far as they can and there are those that will tolerate it, I will be sure to refrain from viewing the forum until after prime time hours. Since the descision has been made that this is not to be a family friendly forum maybe the forum could open up from a plain brown wrapper.


Therefore, post all the crap ya'll want with as little discretion as you want. I just now know that the kids should be in bed before viewing.

Again, I don't care what standard someone else has. I had my seven year old daughter looking at this board with me when that crap came up. If another individual chooses to voluntarily expose their seven year old to that, that is their business. If this board is going to tolerate that, fine. I just now know it and will be sure the kids are not around.
