Well I did it.

Postby kaustin » Wed Mar 16, 2005 3:48 pm

I finally got a chance to shoot the SBE II and I loved it. I know oppinions vary greatly on this subject and I got a lot of input on gun choices over the season. This gun just fit me best and that is what it is all about in my book. The recoil system is unbelievable. You have to shoot it to believe it. I've already bought it so keep any negatives to yourself. Don't bust my bubble just yet.

what would be your choice of gun for all around hunting... Duck/dove/turkey/rabbit/squirrel
less that 2k $
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it, they will be your food.

Gulfcoast, I know your oppinion on benelli is very low and nobody will change that. I have heard several people on here had problems with them. If I do, so be it. But I also have a lot of friends that shoot them and none have problems. I'll be sure to let you know during duck season how it is holding up.

I probably have 25 cases thru my SBE and I still love it. I abuse it and it has never missed a beat.

Bottom line on this is your shooting is a lot about confidence and what feel right to you, so at the end of the day the only opinion that matters is your own since you already bought it dont second guess.

We have about 10 folks hunt out of our camp, 8 have binelli's and out of all 8 no problems over last 5 years.

shoot em up!

I have had my SBE for about seven years and have never had
a problem. Once I found out what chokes work best for me, I
have been pounding them. I would not take anything for mine.
Very balanced and good handling gun.
Hope you have the same success.
