GC,
Sounds like congratulations should be in order...so, you're officially royalty now???
I always wondered if a duck would flair off a black tie....

never again try to get up and go duck hunting the morning after your wife was part of the Court in a Mardi Gras Ball. Ouch.

GC
Did you have to get up out of bed or off the floor or off the street?
A true duck slayer would have just stayed up all night.
Tooooo old to want to do that anymore.

Not this week Wingman, finished up Gospel of John last week. After teaching 18 months straight, I need a breather for a few weeks. The problem was not a hang over, and I would never pick up a gun "under the influence." I just didn't go to sleep after staying up all night. You know, a dadgum coot looks exactly like a canvasback to the totally sleep deprived. Then I dropped a $125 acrylic duck call into the soup......I blame it all on Delta Duck!

$125 bucks and it don't float now that's a biotch! Although somewhere in DNF greentree there is a lanyard with about six bands and an original Faulks cane call on it. IT didnt float either! Come to think of it it was lost on a new years day hunt where I was dodgin' sleep too long also. Go figure!

GC, replace that rnt with a short barrel single reed acrylic, real sweet calls. I've got the cocobola call and it's been sticking a lot, already sent it back one time when it swelled and I couldn't pull it apart. I guess I'm gonna fight it through the season then get it fixed. After losing the insert out of my old cajun call I've been double looping the barrel and insert. I'm using a 6 drop lanyard with 3 calls.

Predestined..HAHAHA! Well, at 15 bucks, a DR-85 will last me about a year, maybe more if the dog don't find it. I could go a little more than 6 years, new call each year and still have five dollars to spend for that 125 dollar call y'all blow. Never had to send a Haydel back to the factory either. But I guess it's different strokes for different folks. Now don't you be ridin' the fence on me GC. We gotta uphold honor here.
