just talked to a hunting partner who flew from the lower delta..yazoo city...belzoni, fitler, miss river, greenwood, greenville, ...looking for flight ducks and sitting...3000 feet...not much to report...

has cancled duck hunting trip..going deer hunting instead...

dog still would like to duck hunt sat...any one in delta national, or mahanna today>>>

Naw, see, he just don't know where to look! I saw several thousand ducks today, but they are in concentrated spots.

we saw alot here today but they are in one big field and they ain't moving just drawing every duck in the county closer to them

No Angel: That is EXACTLY what I have been seeing in the areas of the delta that I hunt. And it is a major PITA to hunt that many ducks in sheet water out in a several thousand acre field! But I sure do keep trying!!!!!! [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

I hunted in yazoo city saturday am, me and my dad and brother in law killed seventeen, but no greenheads, 14 gadwall, 1 hen mallard, a woodie, and a blue wing teal, bot was that a surprise this late in the season.
