Okay boys the crappie are tearing it up at????

Lake Bolivar in Scott MS. Troll on the north end in 2ft of water and fish 10" deep. White bass assassin with pink head or green head. Saw one fish Sat that weighed 3.88 lbs looked like a football.

Me and nitro mag were there sat, didnt catch a damn fish. Everytime we trolled past a brother they would catch one. I think were better off sticking to bass.

Torch - 3.88 now that is a crappie! Heard one was caught (maybe snagged who knows) in the spillway at Grenada that went over 4lbs.

Man that sucker was huge! People are always saying I have some 2Lbs slabs, well that scale will break your heart.

Yeah alot of people claim to catch 3 lb crappie but have probably never seen a 3lb crappie. They are few and far between.

BMF we caught 2 limits sat afternoon and 2 limits Sunday AM. We were on the North end about 10" deep trolling

I heard there were over 70 trucks at the ramp this weekend. Sounds like a crowd for that ramp.

Scales have broken many a heart. A 3 pound crappie, 1 pound bluegill, and 10 pound bass are all rare and wondrous things. They are also not nearly as abundant as people think they are. The only time I believe a fish claim is if I see it hit the scale. I see plenty of 10 ounce bluegill that Bubba will call a 1 pound bream every time.

Micah I had to park down HWY1 about 1/8 mile from the ramp. I counted 65 boats at one time.

I will hopefully get to go see I stop by on the other side of the levee every know and then never thought about that one. My grandmother told me she thougt they were having a democrat tournement there last monday on presidents day. It should have hit me the fish were biting.

Ya, the boat ramp was a cluster %^&@! I didnt get there till around noon, there were 15 boats coming out at one time. Proably set at the ramp 30 minutes waiting to put in. We had 8 rods out trolling on the northend, don't know what the hell im doing i guess.

one of my buds caught a 3 lb at the rez... put it on the scale.. caught 5 of them like that... was slow day sunday though....

Did it again yesterday afternoon. Fished for 2 hours and caught 25 nice ones. Going agian after work today.
