I hate to hear so many say they have no ducks.We had an exceptional weekend.Started off slow Friday with only 5 ducks,2 greenheads 2 greyducks and a susie. Things picked up Sat with 3 of us limiting out,A mixed bag.had to hunt til 2:00 to get em.Unfortunately when we got back to the landing the water had come up too high for us to get outso we had to stay the night,totally unprepared...
But it was definetly worth it because we limited out by 11:30 with a fine mix of ducks.started out with 4 gw teal first light and closed it out with 2 pintails,a bunch of new ducks.
Like I said "A GOOD WEEKEND", there definetly on there way.....

There are lots of ducks in the delta right now. Have been the whole season. They are just tough to hunt, and you have to go to them this year, not vice versa as traditional.

I second that, GC. All the conditions are dif. You can not hunt your usual spots right now. Heck, I haven't moved my 4 wheeler in about 3 weeks. The upside, is the water gives one an opportunity to get out and hustle and learn more ground.

With so much water, they are free to roam. They will get down in the trees, then swim and really gang up. If you hear one down, you ought consider wading over that way.
