February 12-13, 2005
Double banded blue my dog retrieved. Long story short, the a-hole that popped it from the road with a high-powered rifle - with total disregard for the safety of others (tons of people out there this weekend), the law or the resource - had a come to Jesus meeting with the man in green a few miles later. The goose is now evidence.
A blue goose x ross' goose hybrid..
Weekend's take...
Ninety-five percent or so of the birds were adult snows, about 60/40 snows to blues. Will post up more pics as the season progresses.
