The Duckmen checking in....

Hope you boys are killing some ducks.
Came home today to wash up and give the Misses a new years kiss before I head back out.
What are you boys doing posting so much and not out hunting?
I must say this has been a hard year so far and I don’t see any real change coming in the near future. I have managed to take a fair number of birds but have burned more gas than I would like chasing them.
I saw no less than 25000 birds in a cotton field this week and the owner had to be begged to let us hunt it. Our coffin blinds were a must be we put a hurting on them.
Until we get rid of some of this water our normal places are all but dead. I have taken hundreds of pictures and had a great time with some kids.
When I get back in February I’ll post and give you guys an idea of just how hard this season really has been so far.
Dove are at a all time peak in the delta and make for great afternoon shooting, Snipe have moved in well also. Geese are still a little slow but picking up.
Keep hammering them and be safe.
