Alot of people have bashed estate's over the yrs but I've always liked them, especially their heavy load lead shells. Their shells, however, tend to be somewhat shorter than the order brands.

bigwater i will agree estate has got to be the worst shell on the market

federal and kent imo..i myself have had toooooooo many go poof and just roll out of the barrel when i pointed it down.

I gotta give it to Estate steel shot also. I bought two boxes a few years back for the geese and ended up calling them and shipping it back. They sent me two new boxes that I gladly gave away. Pure crap if you ask me!

Remington...I've seen several misfire..

I like Kent or Winchester.

Estate is by far the worst.

Estate Steel Shot is the worst I have ever shot. Don't know about their lead shot. I have never shot any.

I always liked Estates back when they used to be a bargain. Heck, if you shoot Federals, they are the same freaking shell for the last 3 years.


Hevi-Steel: The "don't get it near water if you want it to go "bang" shell gets my vote.

Got a case of Estates before the season, they've been fine so far. But they're not the bargain they used to be.

Winchester is the gold standard when it comes to steel, IMO.

I don't really know who makes the crappiest shell......never really tried anything else........'been shooting Winchesters since 1964.

Sears back when they made shotgun shells, they were as useless as you can get.

Hell Ive shot estates all year long and I like em bought them for 6.75 a box because of an error at the sto, the worst shell ever made is the x-pert. HANDS DOWN
