them ducks is puzzling......

broke thick ice on the hole the past few morns and there still ain't any ducks in the North.{ i live on the Tn. Ms. state line... the ground was froze from here to Canada wed. and thurs. thought it might make something happen... no luck... will try again this weekend... you can't tell me that there ought not be a few ducks around... but no one in my area has anything... what scares me is that i was covered in mallards on 12-1... none since... any ideas ?????

I know what you mean I have had a couple of those here today and gone tomorrow deals. Even if the ducks move in like gangbusters and we slay 'em from here to seasons end , this will be the worst duck season I have had in 4 years. Without a doubt.
