Flooded rice
3 Hunters
7 Ducks (5 Greenheads, 1 Gad, 1 "Other" )
On the ride in we scared up about 500 mallards off thier roost, we really thought it would be an awesome day and the ducks would trickle back in throughout the duration of the morning. Well, a few came back in before 7a.m. and that was it.
No new birds yet, but it shouldn't be much longer! [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Sounds like you had a decent hunt - too bad all 500 didn't trickle back in!
I'm back in Oxford for the rest of the week trying to get some things taken care of. If you're game for a hunt later in the week (Friday?), give me a call - I may be able to pry myself away from my desk for a few hours.
