IS THERE ANYBODY USING THESE THINGS? I JUST WANTED TO GET A LITTLE INFO ABOUT THEM, HOW GOOD DO THEY MOVE THE WATER,AND ARE THEY WORTH THE MONEY OR JUST ALOT OF TROUBLE

a lot of trouble unless you leave them out..they work good, really move some water..i think a trolling motor for $89.95 will do the same thing.

I've only hunted with one once, but man did it help!! It was last year during the big freeze right after Christmas. We waded into the slough and broke open a small hole, threw out a dozen dekes and the MM. Never had to break ice again that morning, even though the temp was way below freezing our hole kept getting bigger and bigger. It was one of those hunts you never ever forget, every duck in the county wanted into that hole that morning. Absolutely wore them out!!!! BUT I sure wouldn't want to carry one of em or even set one up every morning. Pain in the butt [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

One of my partners got one this year. We hunted it one morning in a shallow cypress slough in the woods. The thing was a lot of trouble and absolutely WORTHLESS. I am being completely honest when I say if he GAVE me his I would not use it. Make up your own mind.

They do work really well on a still day, but like M.C. stated it is something that you certainly do NOT want to fool with on a daily basis. Also you need deep enough water so the motor can dunk the decoys and make some good ripples.
