Ok. have you guys been reading "The Backchannel" in Mississippi Today? These articles are very interesting reading.

For those of you who DON'T know, I was fired from a large state agency back in June. (It's ok now. I am back working for the State at another agency, so we're good.) As I am reading these articles, they keep talking about agencies, entities, and people - ALL OF WHOM HAVE BEEN TOPICS OF DISCUSSION IN PROJECT AND PROGRAM MEETINGS I HAVE ATTENDED AND BEEN AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN.

Yes Sirrie! God has actively been taking care of me and mine. (And I hate to admit this, but He has had to, on occasion, give me His undivided attention.) So, as you go about this Holy Weekend, please remember to give Thanks for what you have. Because if He gives as much as a piddling hoot for this extremely stubborn redheaded redneck.........

Thank you for this post and reminder about God working. I know it but neglect it on occasion. So thank you for the reminder. It is easy to overlook in the good times. I need to dig into “The Backchannel”.

When you think of the big picture, today is huge. Unconditional love, eternal life.

I was thinking Friday how the good lord works. I was sitting on the bank of a small creek with the sun shinning on me. It was warm but comfortable and the crappie just seemed to like that one spot I had so chosen to setup at. I guess it fitting, as the big man helps those who help themselves, and has an ability to place one in the correct placement at that time. It was quite enjoyable to say the least and I was able to escape life for a few hours just doing something enjoyable.

Tomorrow, after a long drawn out fight with insurance, and a long ordeal anyway, I go back for some health test. I’m excited but scared all the same. I’m hopeful we find what’s been causing the problems, and praying it can be cured. I’m going with “right doc, right time” scenario. Like I told my mom today, I thought I had a another lifetime to do what I’ve put off. Anyway, I’m praying it ain’t nothing that can’t be fixed. Praying anyway.

And yes. He does work wonders.

Prayers are great!

Going through the steps I guess. The problem hasn’t gone away but the catalyst is doing its best to elude the docs. Like I told the docs the “could be’s” are understood, yet I don’t want to hear what it could be. It wasn’t helping my mind by any means. Just told him to tell me when and where I need to be. Best way I can handle it right now.

Went in today for another test and by some such luck, the issue we were looking for wasn’t present, thankful, and the culprit was revealed (by accident).

Ended up working (shouldn’t have done that) but saw a bear sow with 2 cubs today (I don’t see many bears in ms). Ended day a whole lot better than starting it!

Well, I think it is happening. Reading an analysis article on line, and it sounds like it has gotten WAY worse for all involved.

Thank you God for getting me out of that cluster of an agency.
