I Hate/Like February

Reasons why I hate February:

1 - Hunting Seasons are over
2 - So is college football
3 - It is too cold for golf
4 - It is too cold to fish
5 - I will get in trouble for something that I DID DO for Valentine's Day
6 - I will get in trouble for something that I DID NOT DO for Valentine's Day
7 - She will get mad
8 - 'Preseason Baseball'? Umm, no.
9 - It isn't turkey season yet
10 - Did I mention that she will get mad? Just checking

Reasons why I like February:

1 - The Superbowl
2 - King Cake
3 - Umm, that's about it.

Well since I have a pack of beagles, February is the best month of the year! Time to release those hounds on the bunnies. Good times!

Used to be easy finding a pack of hounds in a yard with an eager owner. Seems a sad thing of the past. If y’all run short a man let me know! I won’t even carry a gun lol. First year in years we actually have rabbits. Seems most hound owners got tired of being run off and in general haven’t kept them. Hate it. But don’t own them and understand

MM, we usually get over that way at some point. We are pretty lucky to have quite a few usual yearly hunts that we run. PM me and if we run across some good rabbit ground over there I'll let you know. Only thing is it would be on a weekday. And sure, carry a gun!

A squirrel dog hunter here. I enjoy February. Anybody got any good squirrel woods?

I had beagles for several years. I really enjoyed rabbit hunting. Anybody that small game hunts, especially with a dog has got to be good people.

I also hate and like daycares. Of course, it depends on the daycare. When they do right, they are fine. When they screw up, it is done so completely.

(Currently, I think the one we're using right now needs shooting. Just sayin'.)

Been there, done that.
It's usually like the wild west in there. Kids running around, hitting and biting each other. Adults don't know how the bite marks got on the kids, Etc.

Yeah, we have three (3) bullies in this one at our church. So we decided to pull Daddy's little angel out before Daddy showed them how he harvested that last doe.

I’ve actually gotten to where I like February.

Everybody knows duck season just ended so for the first couple of weekends nobody’s going to bother me to do anything.

I especially enjoy riding the back roads in February where you can see for miles through the woods.

Getting the Missus to drive me around and then it can be extra fun.

February is not all bad.

February is a weird month to have all the small game hunts crammed into 28 days basically. 80 degree weather is tough on rabbit dogs. Snakes are a concern. Then there's the wind and rain on the other days. So if you have 10 good rabbit hunts a year, consider yourself lucky! Oh well, almost time to turn hunting over to the turkey hunters....lol

Love February, I'm in the wholesale flower business, Valentine week is balls to the wall, love rabbits too.Seams like a dang heat wave in Tupelo this week.
