Football Predictions

Ok everybody. What are some of your predictions for the upcoming college football season? Here are some of mine:

1) Trevor Lawrence wins the Heisman trophy.
2) The planned fall seasons for the various conferences WILL be played in their entirety.
3) After this season, the NCAA becomes completely powerless in regards to college sports regulation.
4) The collegiate football national champion will be from the SEC.
5) Everybody goes to a bowl. (Even teams with a 3 - 8 record could get invitations.)
6) We will even have some spring football games on television, pre-empting professional figure skating.

So, what are some of yours?

Boy was I ready for some college football and no politics but they went and had to screw that all up. Could care less now. If they care sooooo much don’t play on game day but that won’t happen they just want attention. Sports used to be an escape from politics and both teams could have fun etc but now it has seeped into the college world like the NBA etc. Only game I am ready for is Election Day!!! Time to move on!!!!!!

^^^^I think we'll win 6 at a minimum. But I won't be too disappointed if we went 5 - 5.^^^^^^

And if we win more than 7, I will be pickled tink.

Looking at the schedule, knowing that we all have to deal with COVID-19 protocols that can and will change quite routinely, we could very easily go 9 - 1 (10 - 0 with a MAJOR upset in our opener), or 2 - 8. It all depends on what happens and when.

BTW, I fully expect either Missouri or Arkansas to have a perfect record this season. that is depressing.

I'm not going to watch a single game.

Im down to watch Only those sports events that havent come out in support of something stupid like black olives or Anti-latiffa and havent taken a knee or boycotted practice or games.

lacross
field hockey
competition marbles
corn hole
hatchet throwing
lumberjacking

The SEC starts this weekend! What are y'all's predictions for the first games? My predictions?

1. Vandy covers the spread against A&M but still loses.
2. Ole Miss stays with florida for 3 quarters.
3. MSU and LSU is a WAG (Wild booty Guess).

Well I’m just glad they are helping stop the spread of Covid 19. Ole miss has zero cases for the first game and I will assume so will all other teams and with the rigorous testing they have in place if nobody in a college campus like that has it we are definitely about over it. Crazy how it is stopping some high schools with wayyyyyyy less student athletes. Makes ya think. Either dr Dobbs is wrong or someone is cooking the books on testing. Either way time to PLAY BALL

Hmmmm....where to start?
Might as well start with a big ole Bigwater saying “BUCK FAMA”
- then my prediction.....no team goes undefeated in the SEC this year.
- Jacksbuddy is likely correct on arkie & mizzou (assuming he means their perfect season is that they both go 0 fer)
- Novacane....you forgot women’s volleyball!
- Lilwhitelie....me thinks dobbs is wrong AND college football teams are cooking the books! College campuses are eaten up with the China virus...fact.
Either way, I’m going to start out watching games tomorrow, but the first time I see em “using their platform” to disrespect America, it’s over for me, just like the NFL & NBA. Never watched either really, but definitely won’t now.

That is what I am thinking. But they (Arkansas and Mizzou) BOTH can't have perfectly winless seasons this year. They play each other on November 28. Wonder what the Over/Under is gonna be.
