Mr. Chen's

Ok, is it just me, or has everyone who goes to this fine Asian establishment noticed a decided deterioration of the area in recent weeks? I know that our lovely Capitol City has gone completely to pot, what with the roads and waterlines and all, but I haven't always felt the need for armed protection everywhere within its boundaries.
Until yesterday evening. My gut instinct told me that the next time I go there, I need to have more than just my trusty sak in my pocket.
What say you, ye trusted members of this board? Is my 'spidey-sense' going paranoid? or should I make sure my target practice is up to snuff?

I don't go anywhere in Jafrica without a gun, or three. In the last year I've had to draw my gun in Jackson. Didn't have to use it, but I sure thought i was for a second. Thinking about going full Jody (chevy01234) and getting body armor and a kevlar helmet with thermal mounted on the front of it.
The only business in frequent in Jackson anymore is Keifers and i don't usually feel unsafe there. But I have to go work at our plant over off Boiling St by Hawkins Field fairly often. I hate that area with a passion.

Very true statement. Though could almost never truly be a "jury of my peers".

I hate to sound cold, but would Hinds County, Jackson in particular, have what it takes to find you? They are all over worked, under staffed, under paid, and under trained (which comes directly from the lack of funding).
In short, would they really be able to afford to care too much if one of the local criminals was thwarted in such a fashion? I say this, not in trying to declare open season on such people; But as one who has actually been told - by a uniformed law enforcement officer, mind you - that I "shoulda shot him."

They would go broke before they let “Tuel” get off without a trial. They seem to care more for the criminals as was seen when old Kenny was telling folks to throw bricks and bottles at law enforcement from rankin county etc if they persued a criminal into hinds county
