I think its staged and a PR Stunt. But that's just me.

Aside from his "mistress" allegations or whatever you wanna call them while he was in office, I've always liked him. He was either a vice principal or high up counselor at our high school my junior and senior year. Super nice guy and thought he'd do good things (finally) for the city but not sure he had much help. I doubt very seriously he'd stoop to a PR stunt like that but I've been wrong a time or three in my life. Pretty hilarious either way. He put that paddle to many a folks while I was there

Glad he did it, and didn't get charged with kidnapping for holding him against his will.

How do you think this would have played out in the news had it been councilman Ashley foote doing the exact same thing???? Lawyers would be flocking to the robbers defense. Tony can do that and face no chance of charges in hinds county but it would be a totally different scenario had councilman foote done the same thing

I’ll take more leadership like what was seen in the video over Kenneth (silverback) and Loretta (hat crazy) stokes every time.

Show of hands of how many people have a paddle laying around rather than a bat, or pipe, or other "weapon". I can tell you if 99.9% of people saw someone breaking into their car, no matter the age, who's going to grab a paddle in the middle of the night...and just so happen allow their wife to come out too...and have someone film it? And if it isn't staged, then why is he sending the video into places knowing in this litigious world we live in, charges could be pressed against him, frivolous or not. I can tell you for a fact if I grabbed a weapon of any type to teach someone a lesson that's breaking into my property, I damn sure not going to tell someone to come video it, and double damn sure not going to willingly send it in to the media to publish it. I'm still going with staged PR stunt. Yarborough is very self serving.

Bottom line is its hinds county. He was a past mayor of Jackson. Heck Kenneth stokes is a shining example of everything Jackson is. Did anyone see how the Robert smith trial played out??? More testimony and evidence against him than any case ever. He could have pleaded guilty and the jury would have never convicted him.

Now his trial in rankin county is going a tad bit different for him. I may be wrong but he will face a different jury decision in rankin county.
