I have not posted links of the podcast here lately. I think most of you get them in the weekly emails, but this one I am making an exception. Novacaine was on and it was some good stuff in there. Here is the description and a link:

In this edition of the On The X podcast, Rocky, Josh, and J Paul are joined by wetland expert, Mr. Bill Sheppard. For those of you from Ducksouth, he is also known as Novacaine. Bill joins us to talk about the adverse effects of leaving water on hardwoods to long and also putting to much water on them. He also goes into great detail talking about hydrology, historical hydrology of land on duck hunting, and what types of oaks produce the best food for ducks.

In the opening the guys talk abour Josh's big miss or big hit(whichever you want to call it) this weekend. The guys also talk about the new opening for the podcast and The Masters.

It made me wonder if we should be putting more effort/resources into getting the water off the trees and just let nature take care of putting it in the trees.
