Winchester is offering $100 rebate on all 12GA SX3 shotguns purchased in Feb-Mar. Looks like they're trying to clear the shelves for the SX4.
I just picked up a 12GA 3" Receiver / 24" barrel Field Compact from Buds for $700, will be $600 after the rebate. Talk about a deal! I've been looking for a quality gas operated gun for my wife for a while.

Yep. My uncle always said that the time to go out and buy a new shotgun was after the season was over.

Ewwwww, you talk about an ear ringer! But, $600 for that gun is pretty dang strong.

I know I know, but one of the main issues with women and children is not length of pull, which can be shortened fairly easily on a wood stock, but balance. Just shortening length of pull makes someone who already lacks upper body strength have to work harder at keeping their body over their feet. 2 inches on the barrel doesn't seem like much weight, but it's got a pretty good moment arm to factor in.
Nevertheless, I'll be sure to give the kids earplugs when they're sitting with her in the dove field.

Well thought out. I like it.
