Re: Looking for coffin or Mummy layouts to buy
Macks had some cheap layouts on clearance. Nothing fancy but they were $70ish
Re: Looking for coffin or Mummy layouts to buy
You need it to be waterproof on bottom?
I've got a layout ground blind like the final approach eliminator I believe. Can't lay it off in
standing water less you got chest waders on.
Already grassed out with rafia.
When you need one by.

Rice water is 10"-14" deep and its were the ducks want to be, need a mummy or coffin or a deep sled

That's kinda deep even for a coffin blind. In my opinion, you need a marsh boat or similar type layout to hunt water that deep. I have a marsh rat and highly, highly recommend it.SCOOTER wrote:Rice water is 10"-14" deep and its were the ducks want to be, need a mummy or coffin or a deep sled

Kinda late in the game and prolly too far away but Gus's in Slidell usually has some great pirogues for around $300.

Re: Looking for coffin or Mummy layouts to buy
FYI,
I bought one of those real lightweight coleman cots- they weigh maybe 3 lbs.
Now a cheap, non-waterproof layout is set on top of it. Voila. Now you have a $120 momarsh thing-a-ma-jig.
It has worked flawlessly for me in flooded units.
