It was sent to me with a message attached in about the same context. Trust me, I don't go looking for it. I have many friends, who aren't UM fans, and this type of stuff is comical and gets passed around. Its this type of pretentiousness that is the reason many people think like they do.

Buddy of mine sent that to me yesterday. I called a few OM buddies begging for them to tell me this article was written in jest. Apparently, it wasn't.

I don't get it. What's wrong with the article? Freeze didn't write it. Men of faith face trials everyday. Do you really want to be somebody that makes fun of a man of faith? Not saying as a fan of ole miss, but the man lives out his faith. Been around him and his family lots of times and he is a man of high character that makes his beliefs his number one priority.

I'm not making fun of his faith and it's a stretch to try to paint me as such, but something I would expect from an Ole Miss fan. I do think its rather pompous of someone to write an article on an SEC football coach currently undergoing a myriad of allegations ranging from cheating to lying and trying to paint him as a biblical figure. The point of my post is to point out the air of arrogance, pretentiousness and hypocrisy of the Ole Miss fan base. Basically the whole "I'm better than you because I say so" mentality that consumes the majority of this fan base.

Re: Reverend Freezus
I foresee a scorched earth SEC in the near future if Barney goes down. He knows where alot of dead bodies are from a lot of schools.
But then on the other side, I see them only going after Ole Miss. They have spent to much time and to much money not to take ole miss down.
I will end it by saying this. If Ole Miss is a hardcore cheater, they suck at it. How many players do they miss out on every year? I know in the 2013 class they missed on 9 high profile recruits. If they cheat at the highest level and lose on that many players, what did other schools have to offer to make them turn Ole Miss down. It wasn't tradition or a better black history studies department or degree. Maybe 20 years ago! Not today, it is all about the dough. Do head coaches know? Not no, but heck no!

Re: Reverend Freezus
So schools like Bama, Auburn, LSU don't have better tradition to attract a recruit over UOM? Lost me there. Those recruits you lost still took your money -- and went where they really wanted to.mossyisland wrote:I foresee a scorched earth SEC in the near future if Barney goes down. Oh Freeze knows everything my man. Virtually his whole staff got their start at OM around the same time Freeze delivered Oher and Hardy from Briarcrest. It's all one big cheating family. The holy rolling is to make good folks like you not want to believe it. Freeze has been at the front of a payroll that rivals some small town Walmarts, whether the NCAA figures it out or not. Tunsil admitted as much.
Or do you still believe Tunsil was being paid via perfectly legit "opportunity fund?" Lmao
"MSU paid player X" in 3, 2, 1 .....

Like I said, it is not going to end pretty for anybody after this is over. If Kramer was still there the immunity wouldn't have happened and this would be rapped up and Ole Miss would receive their penalties.
I am a firm believer everybody cheats, but if Ole Miss is the worst cheater we are horrible at it. Take off the maroon glasses for a second and look at the players Ole Miss didn't get. If you are throwing around wads of cash, why did they miss on so many?
The Tunsil deal was started by Ga. I know for a fact, He told Al, Om, and Ga he was privately committed to them. Ga actually believed him.
Let me let you in on a fact about college athletes, cash doesn't flow to get them there. It
flows after they get to the college they sign with. Happens at every institution, even MSU.
