UHC pulling out of MS for personal policies. You talking about a group policy?
Btw, everything is going to go THROUGH THE ROOF after the elections. You think increases to this point have been bad, just wait. If this would only take place this week instead of post-November, we'd probably be electing a different president.

By next year, "Before taxpayer-provided subsidies, premiums for a midlevel benchmark plan will increase an average of 25% across the 39 states served."

So, as long as you make less than $30k, you get a decent subsidy, but everyone else gets screwed.

25% is a conservative number based on what I've heard.
Of course, this is exactly what the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was intended to do all along. Force private insurance to go so high and out of sight that a public insurance option is the only one available. We have a bunch of ignorant citizens who don't have the ability to think for themselves. Obama, Hilary, Reid, and Cochran...... they are only the symptom of the disease.

I saw that. Not only are premiums increasing by 25% and carriers leaving the business, but don't the penalties for NOT having health insurance go up exponentially next year as well?
I know a lot of organizations that opted to simply pay the penalty this year instead of providing insurance for employees because it cost less. I am looking for every one of these organizations to cut employee hours to 29 or less at the first of the year, just so they can save some money.
I guess if Hillary wins, it will be 'forward together' over the abyss, huh?

I would love to know who to contact about a group policy for United Health Care. BCBS just went up 40% on our policy. My wife and I own a business we are the oldest people that work there and we are 36. It is killing us.
