Actually, you are incorrect. I was just going to let him know that the new regs came out about September 1st, and if he hasn't gotten a UAS certificate, then he may want to do a little research about what he can and can't do with that thing. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

uhhhhhh, well....I didn't know anything about a certificate. I'm not gonna fly it in any residentail or city limits, does all that matter?

Are there statutes to whether you need a certification or not? The process is getting it looks ridiculous for someone that has a $300 drone and a GoPro and wants to take videos of woods and waters and countryside!
