Any of you guys know what this is on these cats?
I've seen other type fish with similar marks that happen during bedding. Is this the same thing?

My wife caught one, today, that had a mark like that.

"Hole in the Head Disease" or "ESC" ( Enteric Septicemia of Catfish)....also, called "circling disease" of the brain....causes them to swim in circles....after the brain becomes infected, the bacterial pathogen migrates thru the skin over the frontal bone of skull, then erupts in the form of a whitish lesion or ulcer.

Deep-frying will most likely take care of it, but why take a chance on it....as a retired catfish farmer, I'd rather just not even think about seeing those lesions, while I'm trying to enjoy my meal.
