Green Jeans question

Hey Wingman, or any other Game Wardens. The hogs are starting to move around in my part of the woods now that some of the crops have been planted. What do i need to do if i want to start shooting some of them at night? Going to be using a weapon mounted light, and a suppressor, but may shine the big light out of the truck some to locate them. I have already talked to all the landowners, and have their blessings and the neighbors as well. Any notifications to MDWFP, or Sheriff Department needed?

Thanks.

You will educate them really quickly shooting them with white light. Just a heads up.

Sounds like a lot of fun, but I would build traps if you want to put a dent in the population. We built one and cost us about $250 in material. Works like a charm too.

We have a couple that stay out all year, but they aren't always baited. We use dog's some too when a big group come's through. So this is just another way that we thin them out. I have a green/red bulb for my light, so I won't educate to many of them I hope.

If they get that bad, i will definitely catch up with you. We keep them thinned out pretty good with dogs and deer rifles during hunting season, but they will move in and tear up a lot of stuff in a hurry. The main thing is that we join a Wildlife Refuge on one side, so they have a safe place to lay up. I have a suppressor, and one of those big green lights that I'm going to be using. Just want to make sure I'm 100% legal when I get after them.
