I'll be asking for two $10 bills instead.

Re: See ya, Andrew Jackson !
If you read anything about them in history, you'd realize a couple of things. First, that IS her happy face. And second, there were a whole lot of folks who didn't like ole Andrew at all!
And although I agree that she is a more well known woman from American history than say, Susan B. Anthony, there are other changes I would prefer to see first. For instance -
Replace U.S. Grant with Frederick K. Douglass (This'll freak out your typical yankee.)
Replace Alexander Hamilton with Ronald Reagan (Nobody really liked Hamilton either, but we all love Reagan.)
Replace William McKinley with Theodore Roosevelt (Make people actually WANT a $500.00 bill, darn it.)
Replace Grover Cleveland with Eleanor Roosevelt. (Because nobody would want to use a $1,000.00 bill anyway.)
We can keep Woodrow Wilson on the $100,000.00 bill. (Why? Because, well - - it's $100,000.00.)

I wouldn't be opposed to putting her mug on EBT cards.

The Treasury sees it as a peace offering gift for the black lives matter group.

Re: See ya, Andrew Jackson !
Agreed! Especially the way he treated the American Indians. If Andrew Jackson is to be replace on the $20 bill, I think it more fitting to be replace by an American Indian.jacksbuddy wrote: And second, there were a whole lot of folks who didn't like ole Andrew at all!

Ha BLM doesn't have any idea who HT was or even care.
I seriously don't think HT would even want to be associated with pathetic BLM.
Barry is going to smear this $20 like a dirty diaper.

Re: See ya, Andrew Jackson !
Other thoughts on this same subject.
John F Kennedy replaced Benjamin Franklin on the Silver dollar. Now Harriett Tubman is replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20.00. But! There ain't a Roosevelt on any U.S. Currency?!?!?!? What's up with that? Both of them ole boys deserve to be, you know it?

Re: See ya, Andrew Jackson !
I don't have a problem with them wanting to honor some important Black historical figures on currency.. But I am a little perplexed with Harriet Tubman.. Why not someone like MLK??? I understand her fight against slavery, but slavery doesn't exist anymore.. MLK was for civil rights, and that is not only a more current topic, but also he was a man of peace and moral values.. But I guess that would make to much sense..
